Do I need to start with genuine cartridges?

Yes. We always recommend initialising the printer with genuine cartridges first, then switching to refillable cartridges or tanks with our ink. This helps avoid false ink-level readings and priming issues.

Will this block my printhead?

Our sublimation inks are tested on the supported printer series and are designed for long-term use. As long as you follow our deep-clean / power-clean routine and print regularly, they are not expected to block the printhead.

Do I need an ICC profile?

For the best colour accuracy, yes. When you use our sublimation papers we’ll create a free custom ICC profile for your printer, ink and paper combination (normally worth £25).

My colours look wrong or dull – what should I check?
  • That you’re using the correct printer driver and print settings from our guide
  • That the correct ICC profile is selected and colour management isn’t doubled up
  • That the image is mirrored and you’re printing on the correct side of the paper
